On November 9^th, 2022, a Leadership Team HarvED Educational Agency was invited to the Turkey Cognia™ Summit 2022. The summit was a platform to partner with experts from Cognia in enhancing continuous improvement for our schools.

HarvEd Leadership Team was enriched with knowledge on how to exemplify these characteristics in Harvest International Schools and in each classroom. Clarity was gained into the new Cognia Standards and focus on how to boost Quality Assurance Procedures in all our schools and departments; as well as planning and laying new strategies that will make a difference in the experience of our students.

With Cognia Accreditation and a commitment to serve, HarvED Educational Agency is on a unique journey of continuous improvement.

Scope of Work:

Discussions focused on the four key characteristics of high-quality schools and systems. These include:-

– Leadership of Learning

– Healthy Culture of Learning,

– Engagement of Learning, and

– Growth in Learning

Open Days and Orientation Programs are an opportunity for prospective parents and students to gain a feeling for their Schools and the aim is to give visitors a broad picture of School life.

With the autumn term well underway, it is that time of year when Harvest International Schools hold Open Days and Orientation Activities.

HarvEd Agency hosts its Open Day on 12 September 2022. That day, parents will enjoy orientation activities led by Harvest International Schools’ senior leadership and meet the educators. They have the chance to see samples of the academic work, and should they have any questions regarding teaching and learning methods, Harvest Academic Team will be available to help at any time. Children can join the teachers in their classrooms and normal school sessions, such as Art, Science, Music, and PE. 

In June 2022, Harvest International Schools’ community came together to celebrate the graduation of its high school’s students. The event was both a pleasure and a relief, as it was the first time in two years we were able to enjoy the ceremony in person.

Our graduates have experienced a final year of education that was unpredictable and complex. While the Harvest High School program is amazing preparation for university and life beyond school, the additional challenges of the last two years have also made our graduates a bit more resilient, patient and determined. Therefore, the day and ceremony were an important milestone for Harvest International Schools and we are hopeful for the months and years to come, that celebrations on campus returns to normal.
